If you like Manga and have always dreamed of creating your own stories and characters, this course is perfect for you. We offer you the chance to immerse yourself in the basics of manga in order to develop your artistic skills.
In this course, it does not matter if you have previous experience or if you have never drawn before. Does not matter. Our teachers, all with extensive experience, will guide you step by step in the process of creating your own stories and manga characters, teaching you basic concepts such as: designing characters, drawing anatomy, acting, perspective, inks, narrative and surely many more knowledge that will help you achieve the objective of this course. That, mainly, is that you have a good time drawing, you get better at your drawings, and when you finish it, you are able to better understand and perform this art that, today, is the most widely read worldwide.
The teacher will indicate to the students the necessary material for the course at the beginning of the course.

Javier Hernández
He was born in Barcelona in 1979 and studied a Higher Degree in Design at the Llotja School of Applied Arts and Design.
He is a comic book artist and illustrator, with several works published both in France and Belgium and in Spain.
Currently, he is an illustration teacher at the Joso school.
He was the winner of the 2012 Prix VSD for Blechkoller, a finalist for the 2013 Best New Author Award at the Barcelona International Comic Fair, 2014 also for Blechkoller and a finalist at the 2020 Prix Tour d’Ivoire, for The Killmasters.
Arnau Vendrell
Arnau Vendrell (Ordal, January 2000) showed a passion for comics and drawing from a young age; passion that led him to study the artistic baccalaureate at the Milà and Fontanals Institute in Vilafranca del Penedès and Art Gràfic at the Escola Joso in Barcelona. Upon completion, he has worked as an illustrator and cover artist for various book publishers, has collaborated as a letterer at ECC Ediciones and has created comics independently.
